Day 1:

  • Today the focus of your assignments is to evaluate the area of triangles, quadrilaterals, and other polygons.
  • Follow the links and instructions carefully, be sure to read all of the answers before choosing the one you believe to be correct.
  • After completing each activity record your scores on your worksheets (these will be collected at the end of class).

Begin with this activity reviewing and finding the area of a triangle.
  • First click on the green circle labeled "step by step".
  • Follow the instructions in the activity to review how to find the area of a triangle.
  • Upon completing the five steps and answer, click on the white (x) in the top right hand corner of the green box.this will take you back to the main screen where you can click on the blue oval labeled "test yourself".
  • continue through the quiz until you reach the end with your overall score.
  • review any questions you have answered incorrectly, write the incorrect questions on your worksheet and work through them a second time to see if you can spot your mistakes.
  • after completing the above steps continue to the second activity.
